The University of Queensland maintains a number of campuses and facilities throughout Queensland. UQ has its main campus in the suburb of St Lucia in Brisbane, bordered by a meander in the Brisbane River to the north, east, and south. Its other campuses include Gatton and Herston. The University of Queensland (UQ) has one of the most comprehensive high-quality range of undergraduate programs in Australia, many of which can be ‘customized’ by specialized fields of study. Students can also ‘mix and match’ their chosen programs with electives and dual degrees.A dual degree program at UQ allows the student to undertake two bachelor degrees at the same time, but in a shorter period of time than if they were completing the two separately. This option gives graduates a competitive edge in the workplace because of the additional knowledge and skills they have acquired.
